LayerX Monthly Report - April 2023

We kicked off the 2nd Quarter of 2023 with some fantastic news, namely, the announcement of Bepro Multichain Support! In addition to that, we continue to achieve goals on our roadmap and work on enhancing our products. Take a look at everything we accomplished during April:

Bepro Network

Bepro Network is now a multichain platform!

During April, we continue our journey of building a web3 infrastructure for builders and projects through our platform for decentralized development. Bepro Network upgraded to a multichain platform and our protocol is now available on Polygon and Aurora, on top of Moonbeam, with plans to launch on other chains in the future.

We are continuously working on Bepro Network to become accessible on other chains and we’re always searching for new opportunities to help builders to create their dapps using decentralized development.

Take a look at the official announcement!

We hosted Bepro Talks with Celer & Secret Network!

We continued our series of talks with major players in the ecosystem to learn more about their products, vision, and objectives.

At the beginning of the month, we interviewed Ertemann, DevRel Lead at Secret Network, in a fascinating discussion about privacy and development. Two weeks later, we invited Wanli Zhou, Head of Ecosystem at Celer Network, to introduce us to and provide insights into a multichain perspective of the ecosystem.

TAIKAI

We’re taking the ETH world by storm!

One of our main goals at TAIKAI is to sponsor ETH hackathons around the globe during 2023. ETHTaipei was the most recent and it was a tremendous success. Over 300 hackers participated in this amazing event; we couldn't be happier!

Additionally, this month we have confirmed TAIKAI as the official platform for ETHDam, ETHBrussels, ETHBelgrade, and ETHDublin. We are extremely excited about these upcoming major events and the adoption of TAIKAI in Ethereum events around the world.

Furthermore, we are thrilled to announce our involvement in two other noteworthy hackathons that aren't Ethereum events, but represent valuable partnerships: Impact Plus Hackathon powered by Polygon and ShiftAPPens. We believe these collaborations will contribute significantly to our mission and expand our presence in the hackathon landscape.

Let's go for more!

Proof of Participation: from concept to creation

In the last TAIKAI v2 upgrade, we launched an innovative system called Proof of Participation (PoP) at TAIKAI, designed to provide hackathon participants with on-chain NFTs that showcase their contributions to various projects.

The idea for PoP initially took shape during TAIKAI's inaugural hackathon in March 2019. Back then, we called them "badges" and aimed to use them as a tool to foster gamification within our community. Recently, our VP of Engineering, Henrique Macedo, authored an insightful article delving into the creative process behind Proof of Participation.

dappKit

dappKit Workshop at Coimbra Blockchain Week!

Our Co-Founder and CTO Hélder Vasconcelos, Head of Development João Gonçalves, and VP of Engineering Henrique Macedo, hosted a workshop at Coimbra Blockchain Week.

It was an excellent opportunity to discover the power of LayerX's dappKit Framework, and learn from our knowledgeable experts!

What's coming?

As you probably already know, we started this current month of May by announcing the launch of TAIKAI Garden and the revamping of the $TKAI token, so you can expect more incredible news throughout this month. Additionally, the bounty networks for Aurora and Polygon will be launched soon and more product updates are coming.

Stay tuned!
